Design Engaging Meetings Centered on Participants’ Needs

Do you know how to design engaging meetings/workshops centered on participants’ needs?

The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with skills to design meetings and training centered on attendees needs. The program integrates Maslow Pyramid of Needs elements in a workplace. Trainers and meeting organizers will be able to design meetings to:

  • Create a safe environment for open communications
  • Engage everyone in the process to gain acceptance
  • Integrate various activities to stimulate interactions
  • Motivate to gain ownership and take action
  • Achieve effectively company’s objective

There are several problems that occur when meetings and training sessions are not designed to respond to participants’ needs. Meetings turn out to be unproductive. Research clearly indicates that 50% of that meeting time is wasted because professionals are not engaged and resort to counterproductive behaviors during the meetings. Unproductive meetings:

  • Cost organizations billions of dollars
  • Slow progress and performance
  • Increase errors and mistakes
  • Create frustration and resentment
  • Deliver poor to mediocre results

The program engages participants in a stimulating learning process to:

1 Understand participants’ needs in attending events , meetings, classes, seminars or training
2 Explore the meetings’ elements to address participants’ needs
3 Design various templates to structure engaging meetings
